Biofuels have many other uses, besides transportation.
• Power generators
• Home heating furnaces
• Agricultural equipment

(“Biodiesel”)
Hydrogen for hydrogen-powered cars – The   fuel produced is better because hydrogen can   be used as an energy carrier. Heat exchangers   capture heat waste and put that energy back   into the reactor, in order to make the process   more energy-efficient. Methane recovered in   this process can be used to supply energy as   well.
(“A Better Way”)
Electricity – “Instead of simply burning the fuel,   gasification captures about 65-70% of the   energy in solid fuel by converting it first into   combustible gases. This gas is then burned as   natural gas is, to create electricity, fuel a   vehicle, in industrial applications, or converted   to synthetic fuels.”
